Andrus on Hudson is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to join our dedicated team. If you take pride in your work and want to help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for older adults, we would love to meet you.
Located on a beautiful campus overlooking the Hudson River, Andrus on Hudson provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care services to older adults in Westchester County.
Our Housekeeping team plays an important role in supporting the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the community.
What You'll Do:
Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff
Follow established cleaning procedures and infection prevention guidelines
Safely use cleaning products and equipment
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor
Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness
Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred
Experience in a healthcare, assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior living setting is a plus
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned responsibilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
Available to work every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with an approximate shift of 8am-4pm
