Job Summary
Flo-Rite Plumbing & Well Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our growing family-owned company serving Johnson County and surrounding areas. We specialize in well systems, sewer and septic services, and residential plumbing solutions.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship with a strong customer-first mindset. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing and well systems while maintaining excellent communication with homeowners.

Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems
- Service and install well systems, pressure tanks, pumps, and related components
- Perform sewer and drain repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting
- Assist with septic system service and installations as needed
- Accurately diagnose plumbing issues and clearly explain solutions to homeowners
- Provide upfront pricing and maintain professional communication with customers
- Complete work orders and documentation through Housecall Pro
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and job site
- Follow all local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members and support apprentices when needed
- Participate in occasional training to stay current on products and industry standards
Skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of residential plumbing systems, well systems, sewer, and drain work
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing layouts and system designs
- Experience with pipe installation (PVC, PEX, copper, poly, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely
- Strong communication skills with homeowners and team members
- Ability to explain repairs and solutions clearly and professionally
- Time management skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and commitment to clean, high-quality workmanship
- Basic technology skills (using tablets, job software like Housecall Pro, taking job photos, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
