Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards, to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and facilitate behavior change.
- Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management services to ensure client safety during emergencies or acute episodes.
- Offer specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and behavioral health support for individuals with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards; ensure timely medical records entry using EMR/EHR systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and patient care coordination across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LCSW and LPC in the state of practice with active certification.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical or outpatient settings.
- Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation procedures (ICD coding), and evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy and psychopharmacology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, and managing complex cases involving co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
- Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms compliant with HIPAA standards.
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds; compassionate approach to patient care.
