Gebhart Counseling Solutions, LLC is a growing private behavioral health practice dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and families throughout Preble County and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking compassionate, motivated School-Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team.

What You'll Do
As a School-Based Mental Health Therapist, you will:
- Provide evidence-based individual counseling to children and adolescents in the school setting.
- Facilitate therapeutic small groups as appropriate.
- Respond to student mental health crises and collaborate on safety planning.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation in accordance with agency and payer standards.
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Collaborate closely with school personnel, families, physicians, community providers, and other treatment team members.
- Participate in agency initiatives promoting suicide prevention, mental health awareness, and wellness within our schools.
- Maintain ethical, trauma-informed, and person-centered clinical practices.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field (Master's degree preferred)
- Current Ohio license in good standing (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or other eligible behavioral health license) required
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school and agency teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience providing therapy or behavioral health services to youth
- Experience in school-based mental health, trauma-informed care, or crisis intervention
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation
