We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Material Technician/Forklift Operator to join our team at our Clinton, Tennessee facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day operations of our logistics and material functions - forklift operation, keeping product moving, inventory accurate, and the warehouse running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move and stage materials throughout the facility
- Perform inventory control and cycle counting to maintain accurate stock records
- Utilize handheld scanners for receiving, picking, and shipping functions
- Follow and uphold all workplace safety standards at all times
- Report equipment issues, discrepancies, or abnormalities promptly to supervisor
- Support teammates and assist in other warehouse functions as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & experience:
- 2+ years of forklift operation experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred
- Experience in shipping, receiving, barcode scanning, and general warehouse functions
- Proficient in basic math skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with others
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated work ethic
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repetitively throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods
Pay: $18.00 per hour
