Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to exceptional service. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks on local routes.
- Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards
- Comply with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and documentation requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment records, and inspection reports in accordance with logistics cargo handling procedures
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or similar roles involving route driving and freight transport
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving
- Experience with GPS navigation systems
- Skilled in truck loading/unloading techniques
- Physical ability to handle manual tasks related to cargo handling and vehicle operation
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
