Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable, hard-working Home Maintenance & Repair Helper to assist with a variety of upkeep, repair, and improvement projects. In this role, you will work directly alongside me to keep the property safe, functional, and looking its best. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic handy skills who wants to gain hands-on experience.
- Assist with Repairs: Help fix minor plumbing leaks, replace hardware, patch drywall, and assist with basic electrical work like changing light bulbs or fixtures.
- Property Upkeep: Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, including gutter cleaning, power washing, yard cleanup, and filter replacements.
- Painting & Carpentry: Help prep surfaces, tape off areas, apply paint, and assist with minor carpentry tasks like repairing fences.
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Set up necessary tools, move ladders, carry materials, and clean up the work area daily to ensure safety.
- Errands & Logistics: Pick up materials or parts from local hardware stores as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Basic experience using hand tools and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, wrenches). Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance is a plus but not needed.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, stand, and work in tight or outdoor spaces for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to follow precise safety instructions.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
