We recently opened the newest and most exciting entertainment destination in Virginia Beach — **Funny Bone Comedy Club & DraftCade** — and we are still building a high-energy kitchen team to match the vibe.
We are seeking a strong, experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary operation and to run a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen that supports both our comedy club shows and the Draftcade (sports bar / arcade / entertainment area). This is a high-energy environment with large-scale production, banquets, ticketed events, and daily service.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in large-scale operations (300+ covers per night, multi-outlet venues, entertainment/hospitality complexes preferred)
- Strong leadership skills — able to train, manage, and motivate a team during peak volume
- Expertise in high-volume cooking, prep systems, inventory control, and food cost management
- Creative but disciplined — able to execute both elevated pub fare and show-night specials
- Passion for quality, consistency, and delivering great food in a fun, fast environment
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
