High School diploma or equivalent. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. May need additional certification, depending on education.
Prepare patients for their x-ray exam by getting patients from the waiting area, bringing them to x-ray and having them change appropriately. Maintain a clean work space. Communicate with patients requiring examination and procedures, and provide reassurance as necessary. Perform identification procedure by verbally confirming with the patient before beginning a procedure. Register patients, enter orders, and track patients using the RIS. Maintains pt confidentiality at all times. Must be customer service oriented and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
