Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong working knowledge of DO‑178B / DO‑178C standards
- Experience in reviewing and approving DO‑178 lifecycle documents
- Hands‑on exposure to DAD (Designated Approval Delegate) activities or equivalent authority role
- Expertise in software compliance for airborne systems
- Experience supporting supplier audits and SQI activities
- Ability to assess software plans, requirements, design, code, verification, and configuration management artifacts
- Knowledge of model‑based development and associated verification
- Experience with tool qualification activities
- Familiarity with embedded software or real‑time operating systems (RTOS)
- Awareness of electronic hardware assurance.
- Review and approve DO‑178B / DO‑178C lifecycle data from suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable software development assurance levels (DAL).
- Perform independent assessments of software plans, requirements, design, code, and verification artifacts.
- Support and participate in Supplier SQI activities, including audits and follow‑ups.
- Execute or support DAD (Designated Approval Delegate) approval activities, as authorized.
- Identify, communicate, and drive closure of compliance gaps and non‑conformances.
- Liaise with internal engineering, quality, and certification teams on software assurance matters.
- Provide clear, timely, and objective technical feedback to suppliers.
- Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Interact with the customer to understand the requirements.
- Participating in business requirement discussions and providing key technical inputs
- Directly handling technical queries from customer
- Support interactions with certification authorities and audits when required.
- Act as a subject matter expert for software compliance and assurance.
- Promote strong quality, compliance, and certification culture across programs.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Must be self-motivated and pro-active
- Flexibility to respond to day-to-day changes
- Need to show constant dynamism and be able to manage pressure

Base Salary Range : $120,000 to $140,000 Per Annum
