Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere while serving drinks and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. We are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Looking for someone who can work a minimum of one evening per week. Additional hours as bartender, barista or server available if desired.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using Dripos POS or similar systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with catering events and private parties as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management for reordering.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to patrons at the bar.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in fine dining or high-volume establishments is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Dripos POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent cash handling skills and knowledge of retail math for accurate transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members alike.
- Knowledge of catering services and banquet operations is beneficial but not required.
