Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a full-time
Housekeeper to join our team at the Skilled Nursing and Rehab campus in Monroe. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Monroe County.
Responsibilities-
Follow cleaning schedules in accordance with Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling, and cleaning agent use policies and procedures

Clean assigned areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash cans, furnishings and fixtures such as furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets and doors, according to established housekeeping procedures.

Empty wastebaskets in bathrooms, resident rooms and common areas as directed, replacing with a clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket.

Clean general common areas, dining spaces, offices and employee areas according to the assignment schedule

Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Qualifications-
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Prior housekeeping or laundry experience (preferred but not required).

Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols.

Reliable, detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.

Compassion for seniors and a dedication to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Schedule and Compensation-
Employment type: Full-time

Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Weekends: Every other weekend rotation

Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour
