Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead culinary operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation across all kitchen areas
- Coordinate catering services and banquet operations, ensuring seamless execution of large-scale events
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while accommodating dietary restrictions and guest preferences
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, monitoring performance, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations throughout service hours
Experience
- Proven experience in banquet catering, fine dining establishments, or restaurant management roles with a strong track record of leadership
- Extensive culinary experience with skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and food production processes
- Supervising experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced environments with multiple responsibilities
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry
- Background in hospitality or food service management with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and team leadership
- Experience working in diverse culinary settings such as catering, restaurant service, or hotel kitchens is highly desirable
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
