Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Proficient in assigned welding techniques
- Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbology
- Conventional and precision measuring instruments
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation
- Welding equipment maintenance
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance
- Operate power tools and equipment necessary for welding projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding processes
- Ability to operate a crane, forklift, or other rigging equipment is preferred
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to welding
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
