At the State of Connecticut, Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) we are recruiting for a Precision Machining Trade Instructor to join our team at W.F. Kaynor Technical High School in Waterbury, CT.

You'll demonstrate safe work practices, teach the operation of precision machining equipment and tools, and provide students with the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in the workforce. Working in both laboratory and classroom settings, you'll create engaging learning experiences while building partnerships with local businesses to connect students with valuable real-world opportunities. To be considered for this position, Precision Machining Trade Instructors must possess the following certification and license:
- 090 Occupational Subject Endorsement
- In lieu of the endorsement, candidates may qualify with trade experience:
- 8 years of experience in the trade or technical field
- 6 years of experience with an associate degree in the subject area

Position Highlights
- Schedule: first shift, full time (35 hours per week) Monday through Friday.
- Location: W.F. Kaynor Technical High School, in Waterbury, CT.
- Academic Calendar: CTECS follows a ten-month academic calendar (188 days per year.)

CTECS operates 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs.
