1st shift Plastic Injection Molding Technician with at least 10 years of molding and tool set up experience. The ideal applicant will be able to utilize scientific molding to develop molding parameters on new tooling, work with and program press mounted robotics, supervise a fast paced 1st shift in a very well equipped and modern molding plant located in Southington CT. The applicant must have a comprehensive knowledge of all types of thermoplastics and be able to trouble shoot and repair molding cells as required. Molding Technicians are responsible for the safe operations of the shift, all aspects of mold set up, maintenance of a clean well organized work space and troubleshooting a molding process to correct defects or optimize cycle time.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
