Manufacturing Scientist / Engineer

Job Overview
Seeking an entry-level to early-career Manufacturing Scientist/Engineer to support pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role involves hands-on process execution, troubleshooting, process improvement, validation, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manufacturing processes including fermentation, solvent recovery, chemical synthesis, and drug substance production.
- Prepare buffers and support reagent production.
- Own assigned processes from start to finish.
- Perform process monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Support continuous improvement, process validation, qualification, technology transfer, and new product introduction.
- Prepare SOPs, batch records, reports, and other technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.
- Follow GMP/cGMP, safety, and quality requirements.
- Work with specialized PPE and follow strict protocols for handling cytotoxic materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong scientific and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Ability to learn complex processes and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–4 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or related manufacturing experience.
- GMP/cGMP manufacturing experience.
- Exposure to fermentation, chemical synthesis, upstream processing, or drug substance manufacturing.
- Experience with process optimization, validation, technology transfer, or manufacturing documentation.
Schedule
- Fully onsite, 5 days/week.
- Standard hours approximately 8:00 AM–4:30/5:00 PM.
- Occasional early/late shifts and weekend work may be required based on manufacturing needs.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
