Pulido & Company, LLC. is looking for class A drivers capable of driving trucks with 10,13,18 speed transmissions in Buda, TX.
Job Description:
*All trucks are manual transmission Power Units*
Pay is by percentage starting at 28% depending on experience.
The Drivers are responsible for driving and operating tractor trailers to and from manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. Our fleet consists of Enddumps , flatbeds, stepdecks a lowboy. Loading and unloading material, equipment, and supplies on and off of the vehicle. The Driver will also be responsible for following all company safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to: housekeeping, safety procedures, proper use of equipment (e.g., lifting), and following all state and federal regulations. This position will also require working Saturdays, overtime (if needed) and participating in training to ensure continued growth opportunities.
Duties:
Operate equipment as needed to load or unload material, supplies, or equipment
- Use housekeeping equipment to clean interior and exterior of the truck
- Perform pre-trip inspection before departure to ensure that the truck is in good condition.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Follow directions from a supervisor on production schedules, products, and other matters
- Maintain communication with production managers to ensure that production is running smoothly
- Participate in training as needed to continue growth opportunities
- Work overtime as needed, including some Saturdays when required
- Participate in all activities related to trucking (e.g., loading unloading) when required
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures (safety is our number one priority)
- Maintain an excellent work ethic as well as other job duties as assigned by management
Skills:
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background check along with drug screening. We are a drug free workplace.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with at least 3 years of experience.
- Ability to lift, physical requirements (e.g., lifting 50 pounds, repetitive bending, standing for extended periods, etc.)
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
