The Farm House Tack Shop is growing, and we’d love for you to be part of our team! We’re a premier retail provider for equestrians across many disciplines — Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage, Eventing, Trail, and more.
We’re currently hiring a Receiving & Pricing Assistant to join our Landrum, SC location. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to keeping our shop running smoothly and making sure our customers always find what they need.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations. You will:
- Handle a high volume of incoming inventory each day
- Price merchandise accurately and efficiently to prepare it for the sales floor
- Occasionally assist in the shipping department to prepare and ship customer orders
- Work closely with teammates across departments — and sometimes directly with customers
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate is someone who enjoys being part of a team and takes pride in the details. You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Are reliable, respectful, and a supportive team player
- Are comfortable standing and walking for part of your shift
- Can lift up to 30 lbs. safely when needed
- Have basic computer knowledge and are willing to learn electronic receiving programs
- Communicate clearly and enjoy working with a variety of personalities
- Stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment
Experience in receiving and pricing is helpful, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
