Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for residents.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents efficiently and safely.
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting, and moving furniture or supplies with proper manual handling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care methods.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized housekeeping services while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor cleaning techniques, carpet care, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation standards, and safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client residences.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs.
