Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Outpatient Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient psychotherapy services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform diagnosis and treatment planning
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused approaches
- Implement crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes and manage crisis situations effectively
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations to promote client progress
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, and clinical records within EMR/EHR systems
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare providers, schools, or community resources as needed
- Utilize research and evidence-based practices to continuously improve therapeutic outcomes and adapt interventions for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Valid licensure or certification as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or equivalent in Pennsylvania
- Proven experience working with children, youth, or adult populations in outpatient settings; experience with pediatrics preferred
- Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards
- Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology
- Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions using secure platforms is highly desirable
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, behavior management strategies, and special education considerations is a plus
- Commitment to ethical practice following clinical guidelines such as HIPAA and professional standards for mental health care

Pay: $79,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
