Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and psychological testing to diagnose a wide range of conditions including neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma-related disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and PTSD.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health interventions, and psychotherapy techniques.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health diagnostics, addiction counseling, trauma recovery, and behavioral health support.
- Offer crisis intervention services to de-escalate urgent situations and ensure patient safety across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical staff, and educators—to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines while ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Facilitate telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms to expand access to mental health services for diverse populations.
- Conduct intake evaluations for new patients and perform ongoing patient assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Support individuals with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders through specialized psychological testing and autism spectrum disorder support strategies.
- Engage in research activities or quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing evidence-based practice within the organization.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in clinical or outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in child & family counseling, school-based mental health services, or pediatric psychology is highly desirable.
- Supervising experience is preferred; ability to mentor junior staff or trainees is a plus.
- Extensive background in crisis intervention techniques across inpatient or outpatient environments.
- Prior hospital experience—either inpatient or outpatient—is advantageous for understanding complex medical-psychological interactions.
- Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms along with experience delivering remote mental health care effectively.
- Strong knowledge of mental health diagnostics including psychological testing for autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Familiarity with behavioral health treatments for trauma-related disorders such as PTSD is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or neurodiverse populations enhances your candidacy.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards coupled with adherence to clinical ethical guidelines ensures high-quality patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
- Active state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing therapy in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical judgment, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems
