Maintenance Technician II

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II at Americase, you will keep our industrial production facility operating at its best. This is not a routine work-order role. You will troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, support building systems, and use your mechanical and electrical skills to solve problems that directly impact production. You will work alongside an experienced Maintenance team and take direction from a Maintenance Manager who values initiative, technical judgment, and follow-through.
We are a manufacturer of specialized, industrial, Lithium Battery containers used for safe transportation, precision matters here; and the maintenance team is an essential part of how we deliver our product to customers.
Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnosing and resolving issues on automated manufacturing equipment including lasers, punches, brakes, CNC routers, water jet systems, and other production machinery.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical documentation, and firsthand analysis.

Fabricate or replicate minor parts and components for equipment repair or replacement when commercial parts are unavailable or time sensitive.

Perform welding tasks on various metals in support of equipment repair and facility maintenance needs.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to minimize unplanned down time.

Perform corrective maintenance tasks as assigned, ensuring that work is completed safely, correctly, and to completion before sign-off.

Document maintenance activities accurately, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
Facilities & Utilities Support

Support building and utilities maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, and HVAC activities.

Maintain and service compressed air systems and bulk gas systems used in production operations.

Complete tasks in both indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to varying facility and weather conditions.
Parts, Coordination & Communication

Order and pick up required parts and materials to support maintenance tasks in a timely manner.

Communicate clearly with the Maintenance Manager and production teams regarding job status, issues encountered, and estimated completion.

Collaborate with colleagues across Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to resolve equipment issues with minimal disruption to operations.

Experience: 3–5 years of direct experience in an industrial maintenance environment where mechanical aptitude, electrical systems knowledge, and problem-solving are core daily requirements.

Electrical Systems: 3–5 years of experience working with industrial electrical systems; proficiency with both high and low voltage machinery and electronics is required.

Multi-System Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics across electrical, controls, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and use them to diagnose and resolve real-world faults.

Equipment Knowledge: Experience with CNC manufacturing equipment preferred; familiarity with Amada America or Salvagnini systems is a significant plus.

Fabrication Skills: Ability to fabricate or replicate minor repair and replacement parts; welding experience across various metals is required.

Communication: Professional oral and written communication skills; ability to document work accurately and communicate updates clearly to supervisors and teammates.

Computer Literacy: Ability to use computer systems for maintenance documentation, parts ordering, and communication.

Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurability; parts pick-up and occasional off-site tasks are part of the role.

This is a hands-on, active role in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable with the following:

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

Ability to walk, kneel, and stand for extended periods while performing maintenance tasks.

Ability to climb ladders and stairs unassisted.

Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.

Regular exposure to manufacturing floor conditions including noise, machinery, and temperature variation.

Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
