Sales Manager
Job Description:
- The #1 job of the Sales Manager is conducting sales!
- Other duties include:
- Ensuring the sales team is trained on product knowledge and the sales processes.
- Managing the day to day operations.
- Ensuring the showroom is in perfect shape by setting up vignettes and decorating the showroom floor.
- Scheduling deliveries.
- Ensuring Sales Associates are doing their tasks.
- Ensure profit margins are maintained at correct levels.
- Update the sales team of current specials and sales
- Check in Freight shipments.
- Assist with customer service duties to include ordering parts, scheduling service and submitting claims to manufacturers.
- Place product orders, confirming and reconciling purchase orders
- Update our website with current product
- Post product updates to Social media platforms.
- Work with manufacturers and sales reps to bring in new products
Key Skills Required
- Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic, patient, excellent verbal communication
- Positive Attitude!
- Excellent Computer skills a must including use of ipads, Google Workspace, Social Media platforms, online calendar apps and basic math calculations.
- Be comfortable providing design assistance; passion for interior design a plus
- Ability to represent the company's brand
- Bi-lingual a plus but not required
- Ability to work well as part of a team; contribute to a pleasant environment for customers and co-workers alike
- Attention to detail a must! OCD is welcomed!
Job Requirements
- Directly interact with customers in a professional and helpful manner
- Use computer frequently for all transactions, use iPad efficiently
- Work 40-50 hours per week and during some holidays
- Schedule is Tuesday-Friday 800am-Closing (500-600pm), Saturday 830am-500pm. Mondays as needed, during special sale events and all of November (our busiest month). You get a 1 hour lunch break most days.
- Schedule can be somewhat flexible if the job is getting done and the sales floor is covered
- Ability to adhere to and enforce company policies
- Dress in a professional manner
- Be comfortable standing and walking a lot of the day
- Any necessary duties to include dusting and cleaning
- Assist with digital media platforms, website management and advertising
- Remain up-to-date on product information and current industry trends
- Able to walk up a flight of stairs several times per day and lift and move small items
Compensation:
- Up to $80,000 per year. $45,000-$55,000 base salary depending on experience and job performance plus up to $25,000 additional sales bonus.
