Donahue & Cobb Consulting is seeking a Skilled Laborer to join our hardworking team. This role involves operating equipment, supporting construction and installation projects, and traveling to various job sites across Michigan. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, the ability to handle long hours, and the determination to thrive in a challenging work environment.
Responsibilities
· Operate construction and installation equipment safely and effectively.
- Support field crews with setup, buildouts, and on-site tasks.
- Travel to multiple sites across Michigan as required.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate reliability and the ability to work long and varying hours (Monday–Friday).
- Assist with additional duties as assigned to ensure project success.
Requirements
· Strong work ethic and “thick skin” — able to handle long hours and demanding work.
- Willingness to travel throughout Michigan.
- Ability to operate equipment and tools safely.
- Physically able to lift, carry, and work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive pay: $20 – $35/hour based on experience.
- Full-time position with probationary period (3 months).
- After 3 months: Company will cover costs for required certifications.

Not required but certifications are a plus:
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Forklift Certification
- Crane Operator Certification
- Heavy Equipment Operator Certification
