Responsibilities:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Makes final sketch and flat pattern lay out of proposed drawing, checking dimensions of parts, specify materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
- Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings and finished designs from sketches.
- Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired to satisfy engineering requirements.
- Uses computer assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software such as AutoCAD, Inventor.
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience in drafting and creating technical drawings for mechanical systems.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in creating drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders.
