Installation Manager
Wallaby Windows of Nashville
Location: Middle Tennessee (Nashville + surrounding areas)
Reports to: Owner / Managing Partner
Salary: Ranges between $60,000 to $85,000 commensurate with experience (and with performance-based bonus opportunities)
Wallaby Windows of Nashville is a locally owned residential window and entry door replacement company serving homeowners throughout Middle Tennessee. We are focused on delivering a better, more professional customer experience through premium products, quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and dependable follow-through.
We are growing and looking for a hands-on Installation Manager to help oversee our window and door projects from final measure through completed installation.
This is not a desk-only management role. This is a field-based leadership role for someone who understands residential construction, takes pride in getting the details right, and can help ensure every project is properly measured, ordered, prepared, installed, documented, and completed to our standards.
About the Role
The Installation Manager will own the operational execution of our window and door projects after the sale. This includes final measurements, jobsite assessments, order/spec review, install readiness, crew coordination, jobsite oversight, customer communication, service follow-up, and quality control.
The right person will be comfortable spending significant time in the field, working directly with homeowners, installers, suppliers, and internal team members. You do not need to be the installer, but you do need to understand installation, anticipate problems, communicate clearly, and make sure jobs are ready before crews arrive.
Key Responsibilities
Final Measures & Job Preparation
- Perform and/or verify final measurements for residential window and entry door projects
- Confirm project scope, installation method, product details, colors, glass, grids, trim, hardware, handing, jamb depth, sill conditions, and other job-specific requirements
- Identify potential issues before ordering or installation, including rot, access concerns, code requirements, tempered glass needs, egress considerations, unusual openings, trim conditions, or other site-specific details
- Ensure each job has accurate notes, photos, measurements, and installation expectations documented before ordering and scheduling
Ordering & Install Readiness
- Review project details before orders are submitted
- Review order acknowledgments and help catch errors before products arrive
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure materials, accessories, trim, coil, hardware, and install supplies are ready
- Inspect products and job materials before installation when needed
- Help prevent delays, return trips, rework, and avoidable installation issues
Crew & Jobsite Oversight
- Coordinate installation crews and help ensure they have the information and materials needed to complete each job successfully
- Be present on jobsites as needed to review scope, set expectations, answer questions, document progress, and ensure quality standards are met
- Use CompanyCam or similar tools to document jobsite conditions, installation progress, completed work, and service issues
- Help maintain a clean, organized, professional jobsite experience for homeowners
- Address crew questions, field challenges, and installation concerns in real time
Customer Communication
- Communicate professionally with homeowners before, during, and after installation
- Set clear expectations around scheduling, scope, installation process, jobsite conditions, and next steps
- Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Support a high-quality customer experience that leads to 5-star reviews and repeat/referral business
Service, Warranty & Quality Control
- Inspect completed work and identify any punch list or service needs
- Coordinate service appointments and warranty-related follow-up
- Troubleshoot installation issues, product issues, and customer concerns
- Help reduce callbacks through better planning, communication, and quality control
- Maintain accountability for job completion, customer satisfaction, and operational follow-through
