Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Meineke Car Care Center in Oceanside. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong customer service skills, automotive service knowledge, and the ability to drive team performance and profitability.
The Store Manager will oversee shop operations, manage technicians and front-office staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the automotive service center
- Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve escalated customer concerns
- Monitor sales goals, labor performance, and profitability metrics
- Ensure accurate estimates, invoicing, and workflow management
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing team members
- Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and parts ordering
- Ensure the shop maintains a clean, organized, and professional environment
Qualifications
- 1+ years of management experience in automotive repair or a related service industry
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer relationship abilities
- Understanding of automotive maintenance and repair services
- Experience with POS/shop management software preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Skills
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Sales and performance management experience
- Knowledge of automotive service estimating
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
