Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group (CCD) is seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Cashier Lead to support parking cashier operations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). This role serves as a key leadership support position and works closely with the General Manager to assist with the daily coordination of cashier operations. The Assistant Cashier Lead helps ensure operational accuracy, strong customer service delivery, and consistent adherence to company procedures throughout the location.
The Assistant Cashier Lead plays an active role in supporting frontline cashier staff by providing guidance, training, and real-time operational support during assigned shifts. This individual helps reinforce company policies, maintain proper cash handling procedures, and contribute to a positive and professional team environment. The role requires a hands-on approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced customer service setting.
The Assistant Cashier Lead supports the overall success of cashier operations by assisting with daily operational oversight and helping maintain service standards. Responsibilities include providing on-the-floor support to cashier staff, assisting with training and coaching team members, reinforcing proper operational procedures, and helping ensure that customer interactions reflect the company’s commitment to professionalism and service excellence.
This role also assists the General Manager with monitoring team performance, addressing operational needs as they arise, and helping resolve employee or customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. The Assistant Cashier Lead helps communicate operational updates to staff, promotes adherence to company policies and safety practices, and assists with maintaining a well-organized and efficient work environment. When necessary, the Assistant Cashier Lead may help escalate operational concerns or staffing issues to management to ensure appropriate resolution.
This is a full-time onsite position based at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The standard work schedule for this role is Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Airport operations may occasionally require schedule flexibility to support operational needs.
This position offers a salary of $40,000 annually and includes eligibility for company-sponsored benefits. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s retirement plan in accordance with plan guidelines. Qualified candidates should have previous experience in a lead, supervisory, or team support role, preferably within customer service, cashiering, parking operations, or similar operational environments. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to coach and support team members effectively, and strong problem-solving abilities. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to maintain professionalism while assisting with daily operational needs.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge, which requires passing a background check and meeting all airport security requirements. Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and the ability to remain actively engaged in operational areas throughout assigned shifts are essential.
