Riviera Daycare and Preschool is looking for full-time / part-time assistant teachers and floaters.
Daily Responsibilities:
Our Lead and Assistant Teachers work together:
- Developing lesson plans
- Meeting the individual's needs of the children
- Effectively and professionally communicating to parents and fellow staff members
- Participating in staff meetings and training events as scheduled
- Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
- Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
- Building teamwork
Lead Teachers write and implement their own lesson plans based on Developmental Guidelines and school themes. Most importantly, they create a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Lead Teacher Qualifications:
- CDA or working towards a CDA , Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Prior classroom experience (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten)
- Demonstrated .knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Assistant Teacher Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Prior experience preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
