Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Camp Counselor to join our team at Texas Tumblers Gymnastics. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children during our gymnastics camps. Your contributions will help nurture their skills and confidence while promoting teamwork and fun.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children during gymnastics activities and camp events.
- Develop and implement fun, educational activities that promote physical fitness and teamwork.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for various activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Foster an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all campers.
Requirements
- Experience in childhood development or early childhood education is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
- First aid certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
