Position: Pro Shop Associate
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Seasonal and Year-Round opportunities available) Starting August 17th.
About Wellesley Country Club
Wellesley Country Club is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Pro Shop Associate to join our Racquets Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Our Racquets Center features:
· A state-of-the-art indoor facility with 4 hard courts that convert into 8 pickleball courts
· 6 outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts
· 4 platform tennis courts
Position Responsibilities
· Welcome and assist members and guests with a professional and friendly attitude.
· Manage daily check-ins and court reservations using CourtReserve.
· Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about racquets, programs, and events.
· Process retail sales and maintain accurate point-of-sale transactions.
· Keep the Pro Shop clean, organized, and fully stocked.
· Assist with merchandise displays, inventory, and restocking.
· Support racquets professionals with clinics, leagues, tournaments, and special events.
· Help prepare daily reports and perform general administrative duties.
· Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for members.
Qualifications
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Comfortable using computers and learning club management software.
· Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
· Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
· Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, or racquets experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
· Pay range hourly ($17 to $20)
· Staff uniforms are provided.
