Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC LATHE Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC Lathe Nakamura-Tome AS- 200 L with double spindle and live tooling machine to produce high-quality precision parts. This is a Part-time position or contractor position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance - Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects - Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished parts - Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize production processes - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles - Proficiency in using power tools and precision measuring instruments - Ability to work with various materials, including metals and plastics - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances - Strong problem-solving skills, Math and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
