Job Purpose:

The Apprentice Mechanic at Dentoni Welding Works Inc (Valley Truck Accessories) will play a crucial role in supporting our team of skilled technicians. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience and training in the field of mechanics. The Apprentice Mechanic will assist in maintaining the shop's operational efficiency by helping technicians, organizing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to learn from experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist technicians with various mechanical tasks, providing support and learning through hands-on experience.
Clean and maintain the shop area to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Organize and put away inventory, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored correctly and are easily accessible.
Follow instructions from senior technicians and supervisors to complete assigned tasks effectively.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in the field of mechanics.
Maintain a clean driving record to assist with any transportation needs related to the shop's operations.
Utilize personal tools, if available, to perform tasks efficiently and effectively, demonstrating a proactive approach to work.

Required Education:

Required Experience:

Some experience or exposure to mechanical work, either through formal education, vocational training, or hands-on experience.
Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in a mechanical or automotive setting.
