Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / controller to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Oversee financial activities including account reconciliation, cash management, and double entry bookkeeping.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts to assist in strategic planning.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with external auditors for public accounting requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
Experience
- Proven experience as bookkeeper or similar role with a strong emphasis on financial management.
- Proficiency in financial concepts, including but not limited to cash management, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools that facilitate double entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
