A TLC driver training school located in Brooklyn/Flushing is seeking for an experienced instructor to join our team. The school has three types of classes- new TLC licensing class (24 hours), Wheel Chair Vehicle Class (3.5 hours), and TLC license renew class (4.5 hours) Instructors can flexibly take on as many classes or as few as they wish. We work with instructors’ schedules, and provide instructor’s training and materials prior teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Following lesson plans
- Taking attendance
- Delivering upbeat and interactive instruction
- Administering quizzes, class exercises and activities
- Facilitate students understanding of the content taught in class
- Staying update with current events in NYC and Taxi and Limousine Rules and Regulations
Qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have TLC licensing class teaching experience!!!
- Possess ability to develop relationships with their students to build a positive and productive learning environment
- Have a passion for teaching and possess a patient and caring personality
- Understand the needs of students
- Bilingual in Spanish, Chinese, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Korean, Russian a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
