RESIDENT ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE COACH

Compensation: $1,000 Monthly + Free On-Campus Housing + Free Meals + Team Travel
Utah Prep Academy is seeking a motivated and energetic Resident Athletic Performance Coach to join one of the premier prep basketball programs in the country. This position is ideal for a recent graduate, aspiring coach, former collegiate athlete, exercise science or kinesiology student, or someone looking to gain valuable hands-on experience within a high-performance athletic environment.
The Resident Athletic Performance Coach will play an important role in supporting the athletic development of student-athletes while assisting with the daily operations of our athletic performance department. This unique opportunity provides real-world coaching experience, mentorship, housing, meals, and the chance to work alongside elite basketball athletes competing at the national level.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the planning and execution of athletic performance and strength training sessions
- Help coordinate training schedules and logistics for 6–8 basketball teams
- Assist coaches with daily training operations and athlete development activities
- Support athlete testing, performance tracking, and data collection
- Assist with setup, organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of training facilities and equipment
- Help supervise student-athletes during training sessions and team activities
- Support team travel and athletic events as needed
- Assist with game-day and practice-day operations
- Serve as a positive mentor and role model for student-athletes
- Provide limited residential support and campus supervision duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for athletics, coaching, and athlete development
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Experience participating in athletics is preferred
- Coaching, strength & conditioning, exercise science, kinesiology, sports management, or related experience is preferred but not required
