Full-Time | $17–20/hr | Monday–Friday
Lu and Home is looking for a dependable Furniture Delivery & Prep Associate to join our team.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working with high-end furniture. About 30–50% of your time will involve pickups, deliveries, and moving furniture. The remainder will be spent cleaning, prepping, organizing, and improving furniture in our warehouse before it goes to customers.
No furniture repair experience is required—we'll train the right person.
What You'll Do:
- Drive our company truck for local and Dallas/Austin pickups and deliveries
- Safely move, load, and unload high-end furniture
- Clean, prep, and perform light furniture touch-ups (training provided)
- Wrap, stage, and organize inventory
- Represent Lu and Home professionally in customers' homes
- Work with the team to keep warehouse operations running efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience moving furniture, appliances, mattresses, or other heavy items required
- Experienced/Comfortable driving box trucks
- Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture safely throughout the workday, often with a teammate.
- Dependable, hardworking, and punctual
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work
- Positive attitude and eager to learn
