We’re growing and looking for an Associate Attorney who wants to do meaningful legal work with a team that values professionalism, empathy, and strong advocacy.
What You’ll Do
Family law is never boring—and neither is this role.
You’ll handle a dynamic caseload and work directly with clients through some of the most challenging transitions of their lives. Your work will include:
- Litigating family law matters including divorce, custody, child support, and protective orders
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
- Attending hearings, mediations, and trials in Utah state courts
- Communicating with clients in a way that combines clear legal guidance with genuine empathy
- Developing case strategy from intake through resolution
- Working closely with and supervising paralegals and legal assistants to keep cases moving forward
You’ll be trusted to own your cases, collaborate with the team when needed, and bring your voice to strategy and advocacy.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking attorneys who care about their work and take pride in doing it well.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Active membership with the Utah State Bar in good standing (or ability to obtain admission within 1–3 months)
- 3+ years of family law experience in Utah (1 year may be considered in some circumstances)
- Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills
- The ability to grow independently manage a full caseload
- A calm, professional presence with clients experiencing high-stress situations
- A collaborative mindset and respect for the team around you
