Baron Manufacturing is currently seeking a highly experienced Millwork Production Engineer to join our team with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has a strong background in creating production ready shop drawings, cut listing, familiarity with CNC machinery, and excellent communication skills.

We started Baron Manufacturing in 1992 and within a few years we grew into an in-house fabrication millwork and casework 100,000 sq. ft. facility. Our work earned us a loyal rapidly expanding customer base; which includes many prestigious properties and five-star establishments such as the Ritz-Carlton, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Nassau International Airport.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed shop drawings for production using software like AutoCAD or Cabinet Vision

Review shop drawings for accuracy before submittal to customer

Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), cut lists, and production labels

Develop CNC programs for routers and panel saws, ensuring efficient material utilization

Review designs for buildability, structural integrity, and adherence to industry standards, resolving discrepancies before production

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and fabrication team to ensure projects are completed on time

Troubleshoot CNC machine, edge bander, and panel saws
Requirements:
-
3+ years of experience in architectural millwork engineering

Must be able to read and interpret architectural, interior design, and shop drawings; as well as architectural specifications

Must have 3+ years experience using CAD/CAM software; specifically Cabinet Vision

Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication-understanding of woodworking materials, joinery techniques, hardware, and manufacturing processes.

Must be proficient in operating CNC machinery software

Must be familiar with fabrication machinery-CNC machine, edge bander, panel saw, etc.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Wood Technology, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Own dependable transportation and valid driver's license to travel to job sites

Pass drug test

Must live in South Florida in tri-county (Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach)
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $35-45/HR; Commensurate with experience
