The Support Services Supervisor for the Brooklyn Park Police Department Records Unit plans, assigns, oversees, and participates in the work of staff providing support to police department staff. This position supervises, trains, provides performance feedback, conducts annual reviews, addresses conflict, implements disciplinary measures and assists in selection of new hires. This position also maintains strict confidentiality in day-to-day responsibilities. The Support Services Supervisor manages and supervises records technicians, investigative records technicians, data and records release technicians.
Education
Associate's degree in criminal justice, public safety public administration, business administration or closely related field.
Experience
Three (3) years of customer service and administrative support experience in a criminal justice environment which includes one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Equivalency
An equivalent combination of education and experience closely related to the duties of the position MAY be considered.

Core business hours are set by departments based on operational needs. Alternative schedules can be arranged but must comply with the City’s Alternative Work Arrangement policy.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of one or more of the following steps: a rating of relevant education and experience and/or an oral examination (100%). Annual Salary Range
$90,928.24 - $123,020.56, plus full-time employee benefit package. Starting wage based upon relevant experience.
