Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared, organized, and delivered promptly to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area.
Duties
- Coordinate and expedite food orders from the kitchen to servers efficiently.
- Ensure that all food items are prepared according to safety and quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to ensure timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Support banquet operations by assisting in setup, serving, and breakdown as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate teamwork and guest interactions.
