The Salon on Doheny is a hair salon in the West Hollywood, just outside of Beverly Hills. Our clients include men, women, and children for all their haircare needs.
We are seeking a skilled professional capable of servicing all our clients, including men and children. Our extensive and loyal customer base enjoys our top-quality haircuts and hair care services. The ideal candidate should be proficient in a wide range of haircutting and hair services for men and children, as well as women, to ensure everyone receives exceptional care.
As a cosmetologist at our salon, you'll be responsible for providing hair services from cuts to color to our clients in order to help them look their best. The ideal candidate will love working in a fast-paced environment, have previous experience working with beauty products and be proficient in a variety of hair techniques. You will also be responsible for the cleanliness of your work station, sterilizing of all instruments used for hair and make-up, plus ensuring that all products used are properly inventoried.
Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on the newest hair styles.
- Style and cut hair according to customers' requests.
- Advise customers on hair coloring and coloring techniques.
- Educate customers about new products and treatments.
- Condition hair.
- Explain the benefits of different hair treatments.
- Dry hair.
- Texture hair.
Hourly pay plus CASH tips (not commission based)
Must have have at least 5 years experience in ALL categories:
-women, mens, kids cuts
-coloring and highlights
-blowdrys and perms
Starts out part time and can turn into full time. Starts with 15-25 hours per week, and can turn into 35 plus hours weekly.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
