Wolverine Cabinet Company is hiring a skilled, full-time Cabinet Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll handle the installation, fitting, and repair of cabinetry in our customers’ homes — and you’ll do it with the craftsmanship and care our reputation is built on. Just as importantly, you’ll be the face of Wolverine Cabinet Company in the field, representing us with the professionalism, friendliness, and customer service our clients expect.

What You’ll Do
- Install kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and related millwork.
- Install cabinet door and drawer hardware.
- Adjust hinges, doors and lazy susans for proper alignment and operation.
- Repair dents, scrapes, and other minor damage that may occur during installation.
- Conduct job-site measurements to verify all dimensions for cabinet spacing and countertop placement.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate seamless integration of cabinetry with plumbing, electrical wiring, and other systems.
- Handle a variety of related repairs and adjustments to ensure every cabinet looks and functions perfectly.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of five years of experience in cabinet installation or finish carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
- A willingness to travel and spend two - four days per month at our Royal Oak location.
- A consistently professional demeanor in the field.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- The ability to represent Wolverine Cabinet Company with the utmost professionalism on every job.
- You live within the Petoskey to Traverse City corridor.
