Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Schedule: Minimum 40 hours per week with rotating on-call weekends
Job description Summary
DDPS are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the residential services of Nova Center of the Ozarks. In conjunction with the regional office and county service coordinators, they are responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating personal plans of each client, overseeing the day-to-day programming and quality assurance at each of program. DDPs assist in administrative duties of arranging schedules, program coverage, and maintaining certification principles standards. They provide supervision and guidance for Direct Support Professionals on their team.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree with minimum one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or associates degree with three years direct experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

Associates degree with three years direct experience and must be actively working on obtaining Bachelor’s degree.
Some supervisory experience required.
Ability to develop, implement and evaluate treatment plans.
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Some basic computer skills necessary.
Reliable transportation, valid Class E driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Have an understanding of Department of Mental Health regulations.
Have an understanding of behavior management techniques.
Experience in working with families.
Some knowledge of writing budgets.
Ability to stand, stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, as well as push or pull items.
Ability to maintain a record of punctuality and good attendance.
