The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the General Manager and ensuring consistent, high-level execution of daily restaurant operations. This position works opposite the General Manager’s schedule to provide continuous leadership coverage, maintain brand standards, and ensure smooth, efficient operations at all times.

Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations

Work opposite the General Manager’s schedule to ensure leadership coverage and operational consistency

Assist with creating, managing, and adjusting team schedules to meet business and labor goals

Place and manage food and supply orders, ensuring proper inventory levels and cost control

Monitor and control food cost, waste, and inventory variance
-
Ensure all Buffalo Wild Wings brand standards are consistently followed

Lead, coach, and support shift managers and team members
-
Ensure accurate order execution, speed of service, and guest satisfaction

Oversee food preparation, cooking, and quality control
-
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
-
Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members

Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and system checks

Execute initiatives, projects, and directives from upper management

Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly

Prior restaurant management or leadership experience preferred

Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures (ServSafe preferred)

Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
