Duties

- Support food handling procedures, including manual handling and heavy lifting, to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with safety standards in production
- Contribute to food service by preparing ingredients for plating and assisting with serving when needed
- Follow safety protocols during food preparation and manual handling to prevent accidents and ensure quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant, catering, or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with slicing techniques are highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety management, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout shifts
- Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments within the food industry
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a busy kitchen setting
