We are currently hiring multiple Preschool Teachers for various age groups. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of Montessori experience and the ability to thoughtfully incorporate Montessori methods into our Children’s Lighthouse curriculum.
Create and maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Implement Children’s Lighthouse curriculum while integrating Montessori principles
Foster independence, hands-on learning, and student-led exploration
Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and development
Maintain open and professional communication with parents and staff
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Collaborate with team members to support a cohesive learning environment
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of Montessori classroom experience (required)
Experience working with young children (infant, toddler, preschool, or pre-k)
Strong understanding of child development and early education best practices
Ability to blend structured curriculum with Montessori techniques
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Background check required
Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or equivalent)
CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
