Part Time (all shifts), guarantee 8 hours per week, up to 40 during launch operations.

Job Description:
Security Operations & Solutions is seeking a Security Officer that can demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team in support of the Space Program in Cape Canaveral Florida. The successful candidate will be assigned at Cape Canaveral SFS granting entry into facilities and patrolling areas. Security Operations & Solutions is a Drug Free Workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entry Control duties on static guard posts within a Security Entry Control Building
- Verify and control Visitor entry into facilities/areas
- Conduct vehicle patrols of assigned area of responsibility
- Conduct vehicle escorts on CCSFS
- Complete written reports/logs
BASIC QUALITIFICATIONS:
- Current DOD Secret Clearance
- State of Florida Class D Security License
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-year security officer experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver License
- Must be able to clearly speak, read and write English

- Aptitude to work as a member of a team
- Uncompromising integrity and character
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Experience in working within the Space Program
- Ability to work any shift (days, afternoons, nights) and any day during the week
- Must possess the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
- Some computer experience is a necessity
