Cottonwood is an active adult day program that provides daily living skills and community outings to IDD adults. Shift is Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm. We are seeking a full-time and part-time Day Program Direct Support Professional (DSP).
AVAILABLE SHIFTS:
- Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm
- Part-time: Tuesday and Thursday 8am-5pm

- Hiring Bonus: $250 at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months for new hire only if in good standing (total of $1,000)

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Applicant with a teaching background is preferred.
- Experience working with adults with developmental & intellectual preferred.
- Mature & dependable individual; minimum age of 21.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must meet background and reference requirements.
- Reliable Vehicle with Proof of Auto Insurance.
- Clean Driving Record. No suspensions & less than three tickets in three years.
- Computer/smart phone skills sufficient to complete required documentation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide direct care and supervision to a people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or in the community and at our base site.
- Lead or participate in group activities.
- Assist individuals with participation in activities, feeding/meal preparation, obtaining and maintaining daily living skills
- Plan and carry out a variety of recreational activities to advance social and emotional development (crafts, educational activities, museums, parks, dances, etc.).
- Provide transportation to individuals as needed.
- Assist with medical care / hygiene care as needed (medication administration, toileting, etc.).
- Implement and document individual goals and medical tracking electronically.
